Narrowband data will be collected at each site and sent over X2nSat’s (M2M) on-site antenna and router to the satellite where it will then be collected at X2nSat’s satellite teleport and received at either a client collocated router in our hardened data center or sent over VPN to your headquarters.

There are three types of SCADA according to its capabilities and infrastructures on M2M Solutions. The 'Standard' SCADA plan is designed to meet the needs for the average MTM (Machine to Machine) system. This plan offers a high quality TCP/IP connection delivered with a 10/100 Mbs ethernet handoff to the remote site.

This product offers a very high quality of service with packet loss below 1%. This plan is designed for terminals requiring less than 20 Kb/s on a regular basis. The plan does not allow for general Internet traffic, but the internet or a VPN may be used between the satellite hub and the Clients data center.

Private IP space is provided for the remote terminals and up to five devices at the remote. Ultimately the volume of data is measured, and an allowance for usage is given. The link is not designed for streaming type applications (steady stream), and use of this application requires CIR upgrades.

CIR upgrades can also be used to increase terminal speeds above 20Kb/s. The 'Enhanced' SCADA plan is designed to meet the needs for most of the M2M (Machine to Machine) systems. This plan offers a high quality TCP/IP connection delivered with a 10/100 Mbs ethernet handoff to the remote site.

This product offers a very high quality of service with packet loss below .5%. This plan is designed for terminals requiring less than 20 Kb/s on a regular basis. The plan does allows for a small amount general Internet traffic, and the internet, a VPN, or a private line may be used between the satellite hub and the Clients data center.

The client may also choose to provide public IP address space or request a specific block of private IP Space (subject to availability).
